Some time ago we wondered if it wouldn't be a good thing to help other guest house, B&B or small hotel owners to add value to their operations and boost their businesses through increased bookings and revenue by sharing what has been so successful for us at Highlander House.
So we created a website called www.guesthousehero.com with a view to providing content to assist (and learn from) so many in the hospitality industry in this really tough economic climate of surging inflation and (particularly in the UK) meddlesome government and local council interference which seems to regard UK hospitality and some golden goose of cash to shore up its failings when they're actually killing the industry.
The idea is to share what we've learned in a few years from start-up to winning Tripadvisor Best of the Best, placing Highlander House in the top 25 (Inns and B&Bs category) in the UK and 1% worldwide...and help others become guest house heroes!
