The decor throughout the hotel was really interesting and pleasant.
Some lovely touches of complimentary wine in the fridge and home made treats on the second day. Breakfasts great and Gus’s style of personalised friendly welcoming was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it as a perfect place to stay on Bute.

The rooms are beautiful...the beds are so comfy, the pillows so soft and fluffy... some lovely touches.. mini fridge with homemade wine and a small bottle of milk..every type of tea you could wish for and a coffee machine. Breakfast.. plenty of .choices including smoked salman. We came in every afternoon to find in our room, delicious cakes beautifully wrapped made by Sherry. The Highlander is so much more than a B&B....it's pure luxury. We certainly reccomended you see for yourselves..., thankyou Gus and Sherry, David and I will definitely be returning in the future
