They really do go above and beyond to make your stay a very special memory.
From chocolates on the bed, fresh cakes in your room every day, pillow spray to heip you sleep, toiletries the list goes on.
Not to mention the comfy beds.
Gus is very knowledgeable of the Island and can provide great information on places to go and places to eat.

We have been visiting Rothesay regularly for many years and often vary where we stay but after this... read more trip I really don't think we would consider staying anywhere else other than the Highlander in the future. We had a beautiful ground floor seaview room with lots of extras. A mini fridge with 2 bottles of homemade wine, fresh milk, biscuits, chocolates, cakes, crisps and lovely toiletries. There is a wide choice of breakfast which was scrumptious. Beautiful furniture and art work. Our room was spotless and we had a great sleep in the comfy bed.
Our host Gus made us feel very welcome and couldn't do enough for us. In fact he drove us to the ferry terminal when we were leaving. Loved our stay and thank you. We will be back
