Gus and Sherry are very... read more attentive and friendly hosts who took great pains to look after their guests personally, including providing invaluable advice on local restaurants and venues (particularly important on a Bank Holiday weekend). The breakfasts were delicious including the full Scottish and the smoked salmon and trout. Much recommended.

We were delighted by a number of suprises left in our room - from homemade rose wine, to carrot cake and on our final night a bottle of prosecco in celebration of our 6th wedding anniversary!

Gus made every effort to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He gave some very helpful suggestions on what to do in the local area and he was quick to fix anything that needed attention in the room (for example when the coffee maker wasn't working).

The full Scottish breakfast was on offer as to be expected but Gus also provided alternative breakfast options such as locally sourced smoked trout with scrambled eggs which was one of the best B&B breakfasts I have ever tasted!
